Caravane Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation registered in the Netherlands. We are living in uncertain times. Living with the feeling that we rush from place to place. Never slowing down. Never catching up. Our hands have lost their purpose, our hearts have gone callous and our minds are sleeping. We believe hands are best when they work with purpose. We are a big team of international architects, curators, film-makers, artists, educators, scientists , and crafspeople. Throughout our practices and promises CARAVANE CORE PROJECT ART VILLAGE Each year, Caravane plans to build an Art Village in the desert of Qatar. From November to March, the village will become an arts residency, a center for research and education as well as a desert lodge. At the end of each season, the Caravane will leave behind a growing oasis, while its innovations, works of art, and ethical products tour the world. The Caravane network expands and returns the following season with new ideas, projects and experiences. Art Village launch expected in 2021
