Philadelphia Area Chapter of the ACFE
www.philacfe.comFormed in 1991, the Philadelphia Area Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners is one of more than 125 worldwide chapters sponsored by the internationally renowned Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). The primary mission of the ACFE is to reduce the incidence of fraud and white-collar crime and assist the membership in its detection and deterrence. As the local representative of the ACFE, the Philadelphia Area Chapter supports this mission through its educational programs and seminars, which promote an enhanced awareness of fraud prevention and detection techniques among its membership and throughout the business and law enforcement communities. At the same time, program attendees are provided an opportunity to earn their annual continuing education credits and network with a diverse group of professionals in related fields. Currently, the Chapter has over 300 members representing a broad range of professions, including accountants, auditors, investigators, federal and state law enforcement personnel, loss prevention specialists, attorneys and prosecutors, managers and executives, academicians and anti-fraud consultants
