Our Mission is to provide professional and efficient public health and environmental services to the residents of the communities we serve. Through the delivery of state-mandated “Public Health Practice Standards of Performance for Local Boards of Health in New Jersey” and the policies of the local Board of Health, we protect and promote the public’s health by using health promotion and education, disease prevention, environmental enforcement, and inspection activities.
