The official Local Tourism Organisation (LTO) for the Port Douglas & Daintree region, Australia, including The Great Barrier Reef, Port Douglas, Mossman, Daintree and Cape Tribulation. Tourism Port Douglas & Daintree (TPDD) is a company limited by guarantee with a skill based Board of Directors and a highly qualified marketing and business team with strong industry connections. TPDD is funded by the Douglas Shire Council and includes a membership base to assist the tourism industry. Our Vision: To establish Port Douglas & Daintree a the world's leading tropical visitor destination Our Mission: To support the delivery of world class tourism experiences focussed on interaction with nature and tropical lifestyles Our Purpose: To build destination awareness and desire to travel in Australia and in selected international markets through a targeted mix of marketing activities to maximise sustainable visitation, length of stay, expenditure and regional dispersal within the Douglas Region. TPDD is dedicated to supporting the sustainable economic growth of the Douglas region’s operators and in particular, TPDD Members through a large range of activities including destination marketing, assistance with product development and marketing, advocacy and lobbying. The key objective of TPDD is Destination Marketing, an activity which is paramount to the success of our local tourism industry.
