Competition for original, compelling content is coming from everywhere—not just from the Hollywood eco-system, but from the rise of cloud-based entertainment and talented amateur content-creators; keen to provide experiences that their viewing peers demand. Omelia is flexible, adaptive and user-generated, placing the human back into the technology. We have drawn from methodologies that include philosophy, biomimicry, complexity theory and neural network modelling. Built by narrative strategists, cultural producers, academics, traditional creatives and data scientists, who are creating new, vibrant, human ways forward for our technological futures. Omelia emerged from our own experiences as creative outliers with a need to help keep our stories at the centre of emerging technologies.
