Aureus Mining Inc. is engaged in the exploration and development of gold deposits in highly prospective and under-explored areas of Liberia and Cameroon. Currently in operations is the company's first mine and Liberia's first gold mine, New Liberty Gold Mine. Aureus Mining Inc. was incorporated and registered in Canada on February 1, 2011 pursuant to the CBCA in order to facilitate the Arrangement completed on April 13, 2011. Subsidiary company - Bea Mountain Mining Corp, operating in Liberia.
