First school in Paris specialised in comics and illustration, CESAN is a private institute of higher education which trains 70 students a year to narrative arts : comics and graphic novel, illustration, digital narration. The school was founded in 2009 by a team of practising professionals (scriptwriters, illustrators, editors), each a specialist of his subjet and with a thorough teaching experience. The aim of our teaching is to develop individual and meaningful artistic worlds while getting familiar with the fundamentals, the codes and useful tools of storytelling.
