MARA SOCIETY is a 501 (3)(c) registered non-profit organization in NYC. Founded in 2011, MARA SOCIETY is the initiative of a group of friends who want to support Romania and its wonderful people and culture. Our Mission is to : Conceptualize, create and sponsor unique events that highlight Romanian musicians, writers, painters, singers, film directors, and most of all visionaries. Build awareness of Romanian arts & culture in New York, while raising funds to support various charitable organizations close to our hearts, that have been successful in Romania in the fields of education, medical care and social reform.
