DIFI was formed in 2002 by as the first standalone Nuclear Medicine centre in the country and was the first unit of its kind to have brought the clinical utility of Nuclear Medicine. Since it was a new modality of imaging DIFI conducted CME’S in various medical forums, hospitals and with various consultants. It was the first to promote Myocardial perfusion studies popularly known as thallium studies and is now proud to mention as a centre doing the maximum scans for such studies in the country apart from the other utilities in functional imaging. Having made the Nuclear Medicine as a successful venture DIFI promoters ventured into a PPP Model in a leading Government Hospital in Delhi with a Multislice CT Scanner in 2009. In 2012 DIFI ventured into another raw territory in Uttar Pradesh (Lucknow) and installed Gamma Camera (PHILIPS/BRIGHT VIEW X) to set up the first private sector Nuclear Medicine centre of the state. In 2012 DIFI installed a third Nuclear Medicine centre in South Delhi and installed Gamma Camera (PHILIPS/BRIGHT VIEW X) and is running successfully within a short span if few months. We have now installed a state of the art PET CT of (SIEMENS/BIOGRAPH T16 ECO), at our Hauz Khas facility which is operational since June 2015. DIFI has now grown into as one of the leading Nuclear Medicine centers in the country and performing various studies close to 1000 per month.
