The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia is located in Pretoria and is the official representation of the Government of Serbia in Republic of South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland and Zimbabwe. We work to promote and protect Serbia's interests whether it is working with the Serbian community, promoting Serbia economic interest or supporting the strong partnership between our Governments. We also provide a range of key consular services. The embassy monitors situation in the Southern Africa region and communicates developments that are of interest to Serbia. In terms of culture, the embassy aims to promote mutual understanding in its work to implement Serbia cultural policy. It also tries to encourage qualified students from the host country to study in Serbia. With regard to the media, the embassy acts as an interface between the Serbian government and the official representations in the host country.
