Bayou Rebirth is a young non-profit organization founded by Colleen Morgan, a former journalist and Tulane University alum who found a passion for wetlands restoration while earning her post-graduate degree at the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. Her vision has helped many volunteers from all over the country as well as the local youth and community to understand the importance of wetlands restoration in Southeast Louisiana. Bayou Rebirth seeks to bring together, educate, and empower residents of and visitors to South Louisiana through hands-on wetlands restoration and stewardship projects.
