Connect2you was conceived during the pandemic to: • Provide live outdoor entertainment to people of all ages who are still shielding, are vulnerable, are front line workers or do not have the internet, smart phones or paid for subscriptions to access the ‘new’ wave of entertainment • Give professional artists, who have not worked since lockdown, an opportunity to perform for these special people/ communities and be paid • Raise funds for charities as the usual corporate fundraising activities are not taking place Connect2you’s aim is simple. It is to ‘lift spirits and connect people with joy and laughter’ by bringing free bespoke performances to them. Connect2you • Takes Live Outdoor Entertainment using professionally kitted stage vehicles to communities/ people where it’s needed, adhering to all Govt guidelines and social distancing regulations • Gives talent the opportunity to perform, give back and be paid • Raises funds for Acting for Others and a wide range charities which need support in various sectors eg cancer, mental health, the homeless and more Connect2you will go to • Environments such as care homes, hospitals, hospices/ respite centres, day centres, homeless shelters, food banks, etc covering all areas and ages from children’s homes and cancer centres to mental health facilities - in fact anywhere where people can benefit from outdoor live entertainment at a safe distance • Places where key and front line workers are based including ambulance, police, refuse collection and fire stations Why is Connect2you needed • Live entertainment brings people together in a shared experience and currently most residential, day and care centre’s entertainment and crafts, are no longer allowed inside • Artists across the entertainment spectrum are not able to work, therefore via Connect2you musicians, singers, theatre, TV personalities and comedians will all be paid How will Connect2 you work • Our Stage Vehicles come in various sizes so they can park and open up
