Our mission is, "to create an environment for development that enhances Downtown Burlington as the cultural, historic, social and economic center of the community. The Burlington Downtown Corporation (BDC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that focuses on economic development through historic preservation within downtown Burlington. We see downtown as the community's living room, and work to market the area as the go-to place for people in the Triad and Triangle to live, shop or work. Per the Downtown Burlington Master Plan created in 2008, the BDC is looking forward to a future filled with savvy small business owners, residential development, and in-fill development projects.
