AVID is a small business engineering firm specializing in aeronautical design, analysis, modeling and simulation provided as a service, training, or COTS software tools. We specialize in unmanned aircraft with emphasis on multidisciplinary optimization including acoustics. We excel at applications of the ducted fan and "smart materials" and are building a soccer-ball-sized, hovering ducted fan UAV for several interesting applications.
