The Department of Statistics, University of Oxford was established in 1988 and is home to a vibrant place of world-class research and teaching. Research activities include Computational Statistics and Machine Learning, Probability, Statistical Genetics and Epidemiology, Protein Informatics and Econometrics. The department is home to undergraduates, full-time Master's and Research students, and has a strong doctoral programmes. The Department is also home to Oxford University Statistical Consulting.
