Bill Meiborg took his life savings, purchased a truck, and began running the business as an owner-operator team with his father, Bill Meiborg Sr. For five years, Meiborg Brothers ran routes with their single truck, primarily to California, bringing produce back to the Northern Illinois area. After a few years and a few kids, Bill refocused the business, taking on a more local role contracting with the US Post Office, hauling mail back and forth between Rockford and Chicago. Years later, Meiborg Brothers Trucking has grown and expanded to include an entire fleet of vehicles. Today, we have trucks to suit a wide variety of needs and destinations, covering routes in and around Rockford, and across the country. The business has also grown now to include Bill’s son, Zach, making Meiborg Brothers a true family business.
