Community Business Resource Council (CBRC)
www.cbrchelp.orgCommunity Business Resource Council (CBRC) was established by entrepreneur and philanthropist Anthony G. Fant. CBRC is among a few economic development enterprises dedicated to help communities across the nation hit hard by layoffs and the recession. Our vision is to foster a society of economically independent individuals who are engaged in entrepreneurship and providing jobs for people in their community. We accomplish our vision through three programmatic areas: Professional Services, Entrepreneurship, and Service Grants. In service of this vision, and in keeping with our founder’s wishes, we focus our service grants and operations on three areas: creating growth for our clients resulting in new jobs, advancing entrepreneurship causing economically independent individuals, and generating revenue for struggling schools districts. Philosophy Entrepreneurs will be the foundation of a nation’s economic recovery because they start and grow businesses that create jobs. CBRC is dedicated to providing practical tools for entrepreneur training and development to fuel this recovery. We offer an incredible opportunity for communities, local entrepreneurs and small business owners to build businesses and create jobs through our entrepreneurship services such as: StEP Entrepreneurship Program, Entrepreneur Funding, Global Entrepreneurship, and Adopt-A-School Program. Proficiency CBRC is proficient in providing operating assistance to businesses and other nonprofit organizations on administrative management issues, such as financial planning and budgeting, equity and asset management, records management, office planning, strategic and organizational planning, site selection, new business startup, and business process improvement. Additionally, CBRC provide general management consultants that provide a full range of administrative; human resource; marketing; process, physical distribution, and logistics; or other management consulting services to clients.
