The idea behind the Map Of Sonder is fairly simple, it could be described roughly as a new online space to express what means to be human. The aim is to trace an ‘Emotional Map’, documenting how different kinds of experiences are reflected, while at the same time, trying to bring some order to them. Imagine a very simple map of every place in the world, and then thousands of small icons appearing in different areas, or many in the same places. Every small icon disclosing a message, one that could add to many more on the map, like multitudes of stars forge a map of the sky. For everyone who’s lost, to find themselves.
