The British Society of Interventional Radiology (BSIR) is a charitable foundation founded to promote and develop the practice of Interventional Radiology. We are here to support our members and ensure that the speciality of interventional radiology continues to grow and treat patients who can benefit from the innovative treatments it offers. The main objectives of the society: • To support and develop access to high quality information on Interventional Radiology for patients and all healthcare professionals. • To support audit and research in Interventional Radiology • To support education and training in Interventional Radiology The society has grown in an exponential manner and is now the largest radiological subspecialty society in the UK. Our membership currently stands at over 650 UK members, and 35 overseas members, and we want to ensure that more and more IRs join and grow our fantastic organisation. As part of our work and support for members we want to facilitate an online network where anyone interested in IR can communicate and explore the speciality. On LinkedIn we want to help the professional community network with IRs from around the world, explore new opportunities and find new ways to improve their roles. We will be promoting training, events, IR news and job opportunities, all of which can be found on our other social media feeds and website. We are here to support our members and the future of interventional radiology and are happy to engage with anyone with an interest in our speciality.
