The Charter outlines the following vision: - A Forest Sector that is inclusive and equitable, where black women and men fully participate - A Forest Sector that is characterized by sustainable use of resources, sustainable growth, international competitiveness and profitability fir all its participants - A Forest Sector that contributes meaningfully to poverty eradication, job creation, rural development and economic value adding activities in the country The Council is legally constituted as a section 21 Company. It consists of members representing industry, Government departments, communities, labour skills and funding institutions.
