Mission: Lutheran Volunteer Corps, a community of faith, unites people to work for peace with justice. A national, volunteer servant-leadership program, LVC partners with full-time Volunteers, financial supporters and over 100 social justice organizations and ministries in 8 U.S. cities. In addition to working for justice, LVC Volunteers live together in intentional community, and encourage simple, sustainable living. LVC has over 2,500 alumni who know that a year of service nurtures a lifetime of commitment to justice, community and sustainability.
