Iain Exley is an architect and designer specialising in the creation of unique and beautiful houses through the preservation and use of traditional construction techniques and knowledge. In working with teams of craftsmen, designers, sculptors and artists to deliver beautiful homes that stand the test of time and service families for generations to come. Iain Exley founded his architectural firm in July 2016 in Hastings, East Sussex, following 20 years work for some of England’s most prestigious families and clients. Iain was an Associate with Julian Bicknell Architects in Covent Garden and Christopher Smallwood Architects in Chelsea – both are renowned for their high quality classical architecture. With extensive experience in contemporary and innovative design through private commissions, Iain and his team offer all the services necessary to deliver a finished building under the RIBA Plan of Work 2013. As well as offering further design services to extend to fixtures, fittings and furniture. His mission is to provide, through visual clarity and a wealth of knowledge, a clear path to realising the best outcome your project can have.
