She received her B.F.A. in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in 2005, where she received the "Florence Leif Award for Excellence and Promise in Painting" upon graduation. Her art serves as a campaign for the earth, animals, and the lesser-voiced, knowing in her heart that no person, animal, or ideal should ever be squished under the boots of government or corporate balance sheets.
