The Smart Texas Alliance is a non-profit organization that seeks to unite Internet of Things (IoT) projects and initiatives throughout the state through education, partnership development, and public engagement in order to make Texas a “Smart State”. With the advent of IoT, the world has undergone a massive shift in how we interact with it and each other. Because of the complexities associated with building a “connected world”, it can be challenging for companies, governments, and consumers alike to fully understand why this shift is occurring and what needs to be done in order for Texas to remain informed, united, and competitive.
