Since 1974, our not-for-profit, volunteer-run association has a proud history providing exciting houseleague softball to the residents of Newmarket and surrounding communities. With a focus on girl's fastpitch, we support all ages of membership, offer player, coach and umpire development, operate safe games & facilities and positively connect with our entire Hive. Over 40 volunteers step up each year to give back to their community by reinvesting personal time & expertise to deliver safe, fun, healthy, active, organized, and affordable softball programming. Girls who play for the Stingers have a strong sense of teamwork, leadership skills, community awareness, multitasking, strong work-life balance and excel both on and off the field. Our alumni become leaders in their profession and many reinvest their time back with the organization in leadership and mentoring roles. We take pride in developing and nurturing the future leaders within our community.
