We work to prevent the summer reading slide for low-income children through a full summer day camp focused on literacy development and social emotional learning. We hire young adults to help us implement this program for low-income children. While the young adults serve with us, they live in intentional community focusing on leadership development and discerning their vocation. The camp is held in churches in the low-income neighborhoods, which helps us help churches connect with their communities.
