As a pilot site for The Work Place DC, Skyland Workforce Center is a nonprofit collaborative designed to engage individuals, business, government, and community-based organizations to serve as a hub for a range of services and opportunities for people working toward self-sufficiency through employment. Skyland offers workforce development programs, case management, computer classes, GED tutoring, resume development, job application assistance, financial coaching, entrepreneurship classes, and construction job referrals. These services are offered through our community partners: Byte Back, Samaritan Ministry, Southeast Ministry, Calvary Women's Services, Life Asset, and Capital Area Asset Builders.
