Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Chesapeake (BBBSGC) helps young people reach their fullest potential by building safe, enduring, and professionally supported mentoring relationships. We believe every child has the ability to succeed and thrive in life, and for more than 60 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Chesapeake has operated under this belief. As Maryland's largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, BBBSGC makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18. We develop positive relationships that have a direct, measurable, and lasting effect on the lives of young people and our communities.
