I value Social Justice and Human Rights ☥ ☥ As an Anti-Racism Leadership Coach - I provide leadership coaching, primarily for people from dominant groups, to develop an understanding of their unconscious biases. As leaders are beginning to shift towards taking actions and supporting anti-racist efforts, I offer a space where curiosity and unlearning are encouraged. As someone who has participated in systemic racism and has also been the recipient of racism, I have a unique perspective on this subject ☥ ☥ As an Equity and Inclusion Consultant - I work with organizations who have identified a need to be more inclusive but are unclear how or where to begin. I support the development of strategic planning and encourage a deep dive into organizational culture and current practices. By aligning organizational values with actions, I help develop competencies and capacity so that inclusion efforts can be sustainable ☥ ☥ As a Race-Based Trauma Therapist - As a Registered Social Worker, I provide counselling services primarily for those who identify as racialized or marginalized. I use a race-based trauma informed lens in my practice and offer insight into how internalized oppression and colonization have impacted on individual outcomes. I also explore how inter-generational trauma plays a role in our mental health and well being ☥ ☥ As a Professional Speaker - I provide informative and thought provoking speaking engagements on matters related to equity and inclusion. I promote unlearning through storytelling and holding space for discomfort in dialogue which typically occurs when we confront unconscious and systemic biases. By authentically engaging with my audience, I support shifting perspectives through shared learning and examination of preconceived thoughts ☥ ☥ I welcome opportunities to connect, network and share with people who want to do better and be better ☥
