The Canes Finance Association seeks to provide and amplify basic and advanced knowledge of financial related topics to its members while also fostering intellectual and career development initiatives. Canes Finance Association also promotes the importance of financial literacy across campus, builds long-lasting relationships with members and established financial experts, as well as helps construct a strong supportive community of young professionals. We achieve these goals through the open, conscientious, and judicious use of the following objectives: • Biweekly meetings which include interactive activities, and educational seminars to promote financial literacy, amplify basic and extensive knowledge of finance as well as create a holistic learning experience. • Distinguished Speaker Events and Discussion Panels for financial professionals/experts share professional experience, advocate the importance of finance in daily life and promote career opportunities in the realm of finance. • Participate in Case Competitions across the United States to allow members an avenue to apply the information learned and experience high-pressure problem-solving situations, as well as expand their network outside of the university campus
