Linden Fund USA
www.lindenfund.orgIn 1999, Linden Fund USA was launched to the enthusiastic support of the US-based members from the bauxite town of Linden, Guyana. These sons and daughters of Linden brought together by Samuel Wright, combined their talents and time to meaningfully assist their beloved hometown. The overall mission of the organization is to play a leadership role in the revitalization of the Linden community in Guyana. It facilitates and provides funding for projects and initiatives that promote and enhance fundamental and sustainable development in the community of Linden. In our vision, we see a brighter future for the youth of Linden thereby securing a brighter future for the entire community. Its goals include forming strategic partnerships with community-based organizations that support our vision. LFU primarily raises funds through grants, membership dues, donations, sponsorships, and fundraising events, whose proceeds are used to in turn fund sustainable programs and projects designed to effect change in Linden and Region 10. LFU’s future is unfolding with great promise, strategically positioning its resources, engaging its volunteer base, and pursuing sustainable and impactful projects in Region 10.
