The Bridge Community Education Centre is a registered charity which offers a broad range of workshops, classes and services covering IT, Arts and Crafts, Health and Well Being, Financial Management and Literacy and Language. The program set by our experienced, enthusiastic and friendly team aims to encourage and support members of the local community in gaining the skills and knowledge needed to overcome challenges they may face in employment and/or social inclusion. With many of the courses being low cost or even free, The Bridge supports its work through fundraising, grants and through its social enterprises which currently consist of its cafe and catering company Food From The Bridge Ltd (which trades as The Bridge Kitchen), and through the hire of its rooms and facilities to local and national businesses and private clients. Every aspect of operations at The Bridge have the same purpose and mission; to make accessible to the local community the tools needed to increase quality of life, regardless of age, financial, social or ethnic background or circumstance.
