Open Access Energy is an energy tech software company whose vision is to create a world powered by renewable energy. We aim to achieve this vision by embarking on a mission to simplify complex multilateral renewable energy wheeling transactions from generation to consumption through software. We automate the matching of demand and supply, and create accurate pricing across the value chain by using smart meter data in municipalities and utilities. Our team combines renewable energy experts and software/product expertise that have worked in global technology companies for the past 10+ years. We currently have two software solutions which are live in the market: Access Energy - A freely licenced solution that enables municipalities and utilities to access smart meters, collect and interpret the data, apply tariffs, and bill customers from one interface. Energy Pro - Energy Pro is a peer-to-peer wheeling solution that uses direct access to smart meter data from municipalities and utilities to enable accurate multilateral wheeling transactions. We work with energy traders, IPPS, municipalities, utilities, and energy consumers to enable energy wheeling across power grids.
