Über den bevh: Der Bundesverband E-Commerce und Versandhandel Deutschland e.V. (bevh) ist die Branchenvereinigung der Interaktiven Händler (d.h. der Online- und Versandhändler). Neben den Versendern sind dem bevh auch namhafte Dienstleister angeschlossen. Nach Fusionen mit dem Bundesverband Lebensmittel-Onlinehandel und dem Bundesverband der Deutschen Versandbuchhändler, repräsentiert der bevh die kleinen und großen Player und mehr als 75 Prozent des Umsatzes. Die Branche setzte allein mit Waren im E-Commerce in 2020 83,3 Mrd. Euro inkl. USt um. Neben den Versendern sind dem bevh auch über 100 namhafte Dienstleister angeschlossen. About bevh: The German E-Commerce and Distance Selling Association (bevh) was established in 1947 with the aim of a) representing the interests of its members vis-à-vis the legislator and institutional bodies and of b) providing information and counselling and of c) creating the structures necessary for a dialogue amongst its members. bevh represents a dynamically growing membership of large and small distance selling businesses using the internet, catalogues, direct sales and TV as sales channels. They include both, companies with a very narrow product range and others with more than 100,000 articles in their inventory. Statistically, there are more specialists than generalist retailers among them. The German aggregate turnover in distance selling (goods) amounted to 83,3 billion EUR in 2020. The association represents its members in a number of ways: at parliament in debates on the preparation of new legislation, in asserting German interests in legal matters at European level, and by negotiating with important service providers such as Google or Deutsche Post DHL. The association maintains close contacts with the German Bundestag, the Federal Ministries, with various associations at home and abroad and with the institutions of the European Union via its European umbrella association Ecommerce Europe.
