Found and run by Massillon residents, The Ananda Center is a non-profit organization for the advocacy of the performing and visual arts. The Ananda Center serviced Massillon and Stark County from 2005 - 2015. Existing and aspiring artists who are seeking to perform or show work, network with other artists or collaborate on community art events benefit from the Ananda Center. As do the hundreds of children reached through the Center’s outreach work in both the Massillon and Canton City School systems where creativity and leadership are nurtured through art experiences. The Ananda Center is a recipient of both funding and special recognition for programming from Arts in Stark, the Ohio Arts Council and the Downtown Massillon Association. We continue to collaborate with local arts establishments, artists, and community leaders to grow the community through the arts.
