The company Prata Pereira is located in the city of Varginha, in the South of Minas Gerais, and was founded by the director João Francisco Pereira who has been active in the coffee sector throughout his professional trajectory. The leader of the group started his activities with the company Edmundo Café in business intermediation in the domestic market in 1995, and enlarged his experiences in the international market in 2006, founding Prata Pereira Exportadora de Café (Prata Pereira Coffee Exporter). In order to upgrade its infrastructure, Alameda do Café Armazéns Gerais was opened in 2015, becoming part of the current company. Prata Pereira is acctually ranked among the 20 best coffee exporters in the country according to the Brazilian Coffee Exportation District (Cecafé), Prata Pereira exports an average amount of 450 thousand bags a year. Our headquarter is located in Varginha, one of the most important cities in the coffee trade in the South of Minas Gerais, where we have specialized tasters in analyzes of quality control of the coffee blends commercialized in our company.
