ShareTrips is an online travel website where you and your travel companions interact and view search results simultaneously and in real time through a patent pending modified screen sharing and collaboration technology called RIV. With ShareTrips Hotels as the prototype, RIV allows multiple travelers to select and book a hotel stay together even though they are not physically together. The RIV screen sharing collaboration technology goes beyond just screen sharing in that all parties in a session have control of a webpage; that is; all parties have the ability to click and scroll in real time without the need to cede control to one of the other parties allowing for a seamless collaborative discussion and increasing the likelihood of closing a sale. Lastly, the RIV screen sharing collaboration technology is easy to use. There are no downloads or new software to learn. The technology works in any browser and a session is initiated by the click of a unique link provided via email, chat, text or any other electronic means. The RIV technology vastly improves a Rep's ability to close an online sale by providing the Rep a view as well as control of the customer's screen while also protecting the customer's privacy. During a sharing session, the customer cannot see the entirety of the Rep's screen and the same is true for the Rep, who cannot see the entirety of the Customer's screen.
