Applied Ion Systems LLC is a unique and radically different approach towards conventional electric propulsion thruster development. Our goal is to tackle advanced R&D as an open-source effort to provide resources and extremely low-cost and accessible propulsion technologies for the small satellite community. Our focus is to cater towards low-funded efforts in the space start-up, educational, and enthusiast sectors, providing unprecedented access to ion and plasma thrusters, while actively engaging the community.
