Rated 4* Gold by the Scottish Tourist Board. Built in 1863 by the Duke of Argyll, the house was requisitioned by the Admiralty during the war years when the Loch shores were used for naval training. In 2006, it was completely restored to its former glory and modernised to provide what can only be described as 'Luxury Accommodation'. The house is situated next to the town's nine hole golf course which is open to all visitors. The Town of Inveraray offers many attractions such as the Jail and Castle for those on vacation and is an excellent base for touring in Argyll & Bute and beyond. Our six bedrooms are individually designed with fabrics, furnishings and ornaments specially chosen to reflect the character of the rooms. All have en-suite bathrooms and splendid views across the loch and garden. Only the single room does not have a loch view but compensates with a panoramic garden view. A combination of fresh fruit, cereals followed by porridge, kippers or a freshly made Full Scottish breakfast will get your day off to a hearty start!
