From childhood throughout adulthood, we spend a disproportionate amount of time and effort trying to improve in areas where we can at best be average - areas that are the exact opposite of our Genius Zones. The result is an enormous waste of human capital - no sane company or individual would be willing to work so inefficiently when such valuable resources are available, generating efficiency and motivation.
