Hood is more than a beautiful campus in Frederick, Maryland; world-class faculty and caring support staff present an exciting university-like education in a small college environment to highly motivated students by integrating the liberal arts with professional studies. Hood offers 33 undergraduate majors, 30 concentrations within the majors and 50 minors. The Graduate School 17 programs of study leading to master’s degrees; 11 post-baccalaureate certificate programs and certification programs in education; and a doctoral program in organizational leadership leading to a doctorate in organizational leadership or doctorate in business administration. Hood students can gain valuable career experience at more than 600 local and regional internship sites; participate in more than 60 clubs and organizations; and compete in Hood’s 21 men’s and women’s NCAA Division III Blazer athletic teams.
