Hillingdon Women’s Centre is a safe and welcoming women-only space. The charity is open to women aged 18 and over with any issue; of which the greatest demand is for those relating to domestic violence, sexual abuse, exploitation, housing/homelessness, mental health, poverty, isolation, language and culture. The framework of our strategy is built upon the theme of ‘Women Enabling Women’ and is constructed around our pillars of Advice, Empowerment, Sisterhood and Opportunity. With this strategy at our core we aim to deliver a range of services which are continually reviewed and assessed to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our service users. It is the only centre of its kind in the local area and primarily offers a holistic approach to empower women to improve their own lives and reach their potential.
