I am both a student and teacher, constantly critiquing my own work and business strategy--both driving and responding to market forces. I have toured the globe since 2003, furiously gathering information from the masters of the craft. From Denmark to Japan, it has been an honor to sit with and learn from the most learned craftsmen on the planet. Over time, as my own craft developed, aspiring makers have been drawn to my Southern California studio to learn from me, so that the craft is not lost.
