Opening in 2008, the Granite Le Pelley Jersey office was the result of high demand in Stonemasonry -modern and traditional. Since then, Granite Le Pelley has attained its position as the largest complete stone specialist in the Channel Islands. Over time Granite Le Pelley has evolved to be able to offer a complete service for its clients: from early design and budget to supply, installation and more recently maintenance. The company is also heavily involved in cleaning and restoration projects although a supply only service is also available if required. Managing Director, Pascal Maurice explains, “We work hard to develop relationships worldwide to ensure clients receive the highest standard of product. Our team have been sourcing stone (granite, limestone, sandstone, marble, onyx, slate and basalt) for a long time, so we are confident in ensuring our materials have been professionally produced to make sure clients have the best of quality for their projects”. Stonemasonry is a craft and with over 20 highly trained staff directly employed, Granite Le Pelley have teams of specialists in cladding / ashlar, traditional granite random stone, dry stone walling and internal stone tiling as well as a team that specialize in the resurfacing of floors and internal stone. Pascal says, “Granite Le Pelley has built a reputation of providing a professional and quality service but it takes a lot of work to maintain this, our passion about the stone encourages us to maintain or exceed the high standards we set for ourselves and the team are always up for challenges and trying new technique and products. We moved to bigger premises in 2018 and were able to open a retail outlet as well as have a much bigger display area for our stone.” Granite Le Pelley are fortunate to be part of the Garenne Construction Group and have worked with sister company, Sterling Services, on the installation of precast natural stone.
