Since 1993 BHIMS has worked with residents, organisations and businesses across Brighton and Hove to promote and deliver mediation services and build stronger more cohesive local communities. We develop and share conflict resolution and communication tools to resolve current problems and reduce future conflicts. We achieve this by training locally based volunteers in the skills they need to mediate conflict within our communities, working with families, neighbours, groups and organisations to find realistic solutions to problems that are acceptable to all involved.
