King of the Game (KOTG) is here to provide the highest quality of media coverage for high school sports using photos and videos. We aim to use social media as a platform that grants athletes equal/unbiased exposure. Simultaneously we will provide photography and videography services for teams/organizations. Through our qualified network of former athletes and media personnel, we bring a fresh, novel perspective on the world of sports media. With creative outlets to encourage player interaction with the KOTG platform, we will build a colossal social media database of news stories and player spotlights. This social media hub would allow student-athletes and teams to easily share their KOTG feature video or photo for easy exposure. KOTG's main focus is on quality, as that catches the attention of sports followers. A quality product posted on social media has a higher likelihood of receiving more impressions. With the growth of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and others, society is always looking for the path of the least resistance when gathering news. Social media does not only provide quick news coverage but it easy to share these news stories. Not only is it easy for the viewer to take in the news, but it is delivered quicker. From a recruiting aspect, more college coaches and scouts are using social media to identify talent. It doesn’t cost the colleges money to view and it is easy for them to view highlights of the prospects. Players simply tag a coach or scout to the videos and coaches have instant access to the video. Investing in quality highlights increases the chances a coach or scout will watch more of the athlete’s highlight.
