SanneBloem is a one-woman company with many different qualities. I wanted to be able to develop myself constantly and didn't want to do that in one place. Then I got this amazing opportunity to work as a producer for a documentary. I had no experience in the film business, but I had always organised, networked and phoned so I reckoned I was the woman for the job, and I was. In the large year I was working as a producer I learned so much. About making films, but moreover much about myself and how much I liked to be in charge of my own working life. I loved working on projects and I realized film making was not the one love of my life. I have many 'likes', they can be divided in projects where I help people out and projects I initiate myself. I like putting people together, like I did for the 'Zelfgemaakte Markt', a market where people can sell their homemade products, and for the block calender I made with input from many different cartoonists, comedians, poets, singer-songwriters etc. The list of things I do and have done is long and gets longer pretty much every week. I'm a cooking workshop assistant, an organizer of events, a producer, I worked in day care, I'm an interviewer for documentaries, a production leader, a casting director, a website builder, a mystery guest and many more things. It is often quite hard to explain to people what I do, but the beautiful thing is that people seem to get my potential and call me to help them. With most anything.
