College Outreach USA is non-profit 501c3. Our goal is to identifying under-served students and helping them get into college. Sir Francis Bacon said, "Knowledge is power." The colleges want to put the knowledge of college admissions and financial aid back in the hands of the students where its power can do the best. Therefore, we reach out to students during their middle and high school years so they have the information early enough to be able to plan and apply to college. We supply generic information received by the seventh and eighth grade students, college guidance to our consortium member colleges. Starting in ninth grade we begin the college placement process as we disseminate specific college information so that by the time each student reaches eleventh grade they will have been guided to the proper academic level of college they should attend. Meanwhile the student information we receive is noted by each college and an early file is started about the student at every academic level. We would not encourage a student without advanced level courses to apply to a top tier college, unless his college guidance counselor feels differently. All the information that is collected by College Outreach USA (COUSA) his kept private and can only be used by us or our member colleges. These lists are never loaned or sold to anyone else or any other companies.
