The Sahrawi Association in the United States of America (SAUSA), is a 501(3)(C) non-profit organization founded in 2016 based of New York. SAUSA aims to bring the world attention to the suffering of the people of Western Sahara and advocates for the peaceful resolution to the illegal occupation of Western Sahara by Morocco, through a referendum for self-determination under the auspices of the United Nations and the African Union. SAUSA was found, to serve the people of Western Sahara by empowering the Saharawi youth, financing projects, and raising awareness on the gross human rights abuses faced by the people of Western Sahara.
