Education in Zion is a learning center with a multimedia exhibition occupying the beautiful gallery space in the Joseph F. Smith Building at Brigham Young University. The gallery and permanent exhibition explore a tradition of learning that aims to educate the whole soul and documents the rich history and heritage of education in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from the revelations of the Prophet Joseph Smith to the current worldwide Church Educational System. Education in Zion includes inspiring stories—shared through film, artwork, photographs, and letters—thoughtfully displayed in the open gallery space with several conversation areas that offer visitors a stunning view of the Wasatch Mountains.
